Breaking New Ground: Armatile Joins Women in Business NI

We’re thrilled to announce a powerful new chapter in Armatile’s journey, and in the tiling industry as a whole. Chloe Connor, our Marketing Manager, and Dearbhail Stevenson, our National Distribution Sales Manager, have officially joined Women in Business NI (WIB), Northern Ireland’s largest and most dynamic network for female professionals.

This milestone is more than symbolic, it’s historic as Chloe and Dearbhail are the first women in the tiling sector to become members of WIB, paving the way for greater visibility, leadership, and inclusion in an industry that has long been male-dominated.

To mark the occasion, we were honoured to welcome Collette Kelly from WIB to our Armagh HQ for an official launch as a celebration not just of progress, but of possibility.

Driving Change from the Inside Out

Chloe and Dearbhail bring a wealth of experience, creativity, and strategic insight to their roles at Armatile, and now, to the WIB community. Their goal is not only to benefit from the mentoring, training, and networking opportunities WIB offers, but to actively contribute to the growth of the network.

“We want to bring the voice of women in manufacturing and distribution into the conversation,” says Dearbhail. “There’s so much potential for innovation and collaboration when diverse perspectives are represented.”

Chloe adds, “This is about more than our own careers, it’s about opening doors for others. We hope to inspire more women to see themselves in roles they may not have considered before.”

A Vision for an Inclusive Industry

At Armatile, we believe that true progress comes from challenging norms and creating space for new voices. Chloe and Dearbhail’s membership in WIB is a reflection of our commitment to building a more inclusive future, not just for our company, but for the entire tiling sector.

We’re excited to see how their involvement will spark new conversations, foster meaningful connections, and help shape a more diverse and empowered industry.

Here’s to breaking barriers, building networks, and leading with purpose.
