We’re looking for a creative, customer-focused Design Sales Consultant to join our Dublin showroom. If your background is in interiors, fashion, design or retail, this is an opportunity to put your flair for styling and working with people into practice.
Armatile is one of the leading retailers, distributors and manufacturers of tiles in Ireland and the UK. You’ll help customers bring their ideas to life, combining colours, finishes and materials to create spaces they’ll love.
From a first spark of inspiration to the final selection, you’ll guide customers through their design and purchasing journey. You’ll work with homeowners, builders, developers and designers, helping them make confident choices that suit their style, space and budget.
Duties and Responsibility
Creating tile and finish combinations tailored to each customer’s project.
Using our design packages to help customers visualise their ideas.
Turning showroom conversations into sales through thoughtful advice and personal service.
Finding creative, practical and cost-effective solutions.
Developing a strong knowledge of our tiles, tiling products and design services.
Preparing quotations, following up enquiries and keeping customers informed.
Building lasting customer relationships and contributing to the showroom’s sales targets.
Skills and Experience
You might have experience in fashion retail, personal styling, visual merchandising, interiors or design consultancy. We’re interested in your creative eye, your ability to understand customers and your enthusiasm for sales
We’re looking for someone with:
A flair for colour, texture, pattern and coordinating finishes.
Experience in a sales or customer-facing environment.
Strong communication skills and the confidence to guide customers through their choices.
A commercial mindset and motivation to achieve sales targets.
Good organisation, attention to detail and time management.
A willingness to learn and develop knowledge of our products and design tools.
Experience in tiles or interiors would be an advantage, but we also welcome applicants with transferable skills from fashion and other creative retail backgrounds.
