Job Overview
Established in 1975, Armatile is a multi-award-winning tile company with 4 showrooms in Ireland. We design and create bespoke tile surface solutions for a broad range of clients and projects in the UK, Ireland and further afield. Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a Business Development Executive to join our team.
Duties and Responsibility
What you’ll be doing:
The main objective of this role is to grow commercial sales of Armatile’s bespoke-made products in Ireland and the UK.
You’ll:
• Generate leads and contact prospective customers, with a particular focus on designers/architects and other commercial project specifiers.
• Develop and deliver presentations to designers/architects and large construction companies focusing on Armatile’s USP.
• Research and attend networking events to develop relationships with designers and construction companies.
• Develop relationships with existing clients and partners to generate repeat business.
• Work closely with Armatile’s commercial and marketing teams to develop and implement a sales and marketing plan to increase sales of our bespoke products
• Develop relationships with new and existing customers in ROI and GB.
• Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets where Armalite’s bespoke made products can be promoted.
Skills and Experience
Who we’re looking for:
You’ll be an experienced B2B sales-person or business development professional with the self-motivation, tenacity and perseverance to succeed in sales. You’ll have excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to create and develop strategic relationships. You’ll be confident in cold-calling and lead generation.
You will have relevant sales experience in the construction sector – selling to and influencing designers, contractors, architects or flooring companies etc.
