Job Overview
The Dublin Branch Manager will take full ownership of the branch’s commercial performance, with a clear mandate to drive aggressive sales growth across the ROI market.
This role is not just operational—it is a front-line leadership position focused on winning business, building pipeline, and positioning Armatile as a market leader through direct engagement, strategic relationships, and high-impact industry presence.
Duties and Responsibility
Sales & Market Growth (ROI Focus)
Deliver and exceed ROI sales targets in line with company growth objectives
Drive specification and project sales across commercial and residential sectors
Actively build, manage, and convert a strong pipeline of opportunities
Develop and maintain high-value relationships with contractors, architects, designers, and key trade customers
Lead from the front in business development, spending significant time in the market
Own Armatile’s presence at exhibitions and industry events:
Identify the right exhibitions and trade events to target
Plan, organise, and execute impactful participation
Use events as a primary lead generation and brand-building channel - Convert exhibition engagement into measurable sales opportunities and projects
Work closely with senior management to accelerate market share growth in ROI
Branch & Operational Management
Oversee all day-to-day branch operations with a strong focus on efficiency and performance
Ensure robust stock control and product availability
Maintain a showroom environment that actively supports sales conversion
Coordinate logistics to ensure seamless and timely order fulfilment
Team Leadership, HR & Recruitment
Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing, sales-focused team
Take full ownership of recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development
Set clear sales targets and performance expectations across the team
Drive accountability through regular reviews and performance management
Create a culture of urgency, ownership, and results
Customer & Project Management
Take ownership of key accounts and strategic projects
Ensure a high-quality customer experience from first contact through to completion
Support the team in closing deals and resolving issues quickly
Build long-term partnerships that drive repeat and referral business
Financial & Commercial Control
Manage branch budgets with a strong focus on profitability
Monitor margins, pricing, and commercial performance
Track KPIs rigorously and report on progress
Work closely with head office on pricing, rebates, and project tracking
Skills and Experience
Essential Criteria:
Proven track record in a Branch Manager or senior sales leadership role
Strong background in construction materials, tiles, or interiors
Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and win projects
Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
Experienced in building and leading high-performing teams
Highly driven, proactive, and results-focused
Desirable:
Established network within the ROI construction and design market
Experience in specification sales and large-scale projects
Experience leveraging exhibitions and events as a sales channel
