Candidates need to have a reasonable level of fitness, be able to work quickly, efficiently and competently for this position. You will be a key part of a customer focused team responsible for order assembly and loading for delivery to our customers.
Duties and Responsibility
The Role
Based in our warehouse at Greenbank Industrial Estate, Newry, you will be a key part of a customer focused team responsible for order assembly, loading and delivery to our customers.
Responsibilities
• Multi-drop delivery of goods on the most cost-effective routes.
• Responsibility for checking the stability and safety of all loads.
• Complying with applicable health and safety regulations.
• Responsibility for the roadworthiness and cleanliness of your vehicle.
• Ensure all goods loaded for delivery have docket for signing.
• Acquire a signature on respective dockets for goods delivered and return to office for processing.
• Prepare your vehicle for loading and unloading.
• Help load your own vehicle.
• Assisting with other related tasks as required.
Hours of Work:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Skills and Experience
Required criteria
• Applicants must have a full, clean Class 2 HGV license
• Up-to-date CPC card
• Digi-tachograph card
• Minimum of 1 years' experience
• Must be physically fit
• Counterbalance licence an advantage
