Overview
This project at St Mary’s Church in Lavey is a great example of how Armatile works in partnership with all project stakeholders, including the Architect Mullarkey Pederson, Builder Woodvale Construction and Church Committee Members to deliver a tailored surface solution that not only met but exceeded the clients brief for this Heritage Restoration Project.
Armatile has a reputation for working on heritage projects. It has now delivered over 150 in the past decade. With a sympathetic approach to ecclesiastical restoration its team expertly interprets design needs, sources and manufactures flooring tiles, mosaics and features, and translates each client’s creative vision into reality.
Armatile’s Project Team worked with the client on initial designs, colours and materials before sourcing and installing high quality Crema Marfil Marble for the Sanctuary and fully vitrified Porcelain Tiles for the Nave.
It’s Manufacturing Team in Armagh manufactured complementary borders, two decorative centre panels for the aisles and also waterjet cut the large circular feature to highlight the baptismal font and entrance pathway area.
The completed product not only met but totally exceeded the client’s expectations and helped transform the building into a bright welcoming space for patrons and visitors.
