Armatile’s Contract Dept was contacted by the Interior Designers at DiMaggio Restaurant Group.
They wanted to know if we could make a tile mosaic with a hexagon design, for a new project they were working on, that would ‘bring a modern flair to the classical restoration of an old building.’
Armatile’s Design Team created drawings of the mosaic for approval and worked closely with them to identify tiles in the particular colours they wanted to use.
These were followed up by samples for the client to check colours and tile quality.
Once colours, designs and prices had been agreed, Armatile’s Manufacturing Teams pulled out all the stops to cut and assemble the high quality, mesh-backed interlocking mosaic panels that form the centre piece of the project.
DiMaggio’s were delighted with the final results and the service provided by Armatile. Their lead Interior Designer Kirsten Davies emailed to say;
“Everyone loves the mosaic flooring and it really is a big feature for the space. The service and help with the design process from Armatile was great and we look forward to working with you on another project in the near future!”
While Angus Alston of the fit-out company Hugh Stirling Ltd commented;
