How long have you been at Armatile?

I have been working in Armatile for over 9 years. I started out in the Belfast showroom as a Sales consultant and was promoted to Showroom Manager a few years later. I am now a Contracts Manager.

Describe a typical day in your job in Armatile.

I really enjoy my time in Armatile. Primarily my job consists of dealing with developers, builders and individual home owners. It's a very varied role and never boring. Everyday brings something new and exciting.

What skills have you developed during your time in Armatile?

I have learned so many new skills during my career at Armatile. This includes developing my project management planning skills, working as part of a team with like minded colleagues focused on customer service and working to deadlines.

My role has given me the confidence to develop strong communication skills and helped me create long term commercial relationships with every type of customer.

This has been everyone from a customer working on a small refurb, to another working multi million pound new build.

I particularly love visiting sites and working with clients to find the perfect tiles and bespoke designs for their individual homes or commercial projects.

What has been your favourite project you've been involved in at Armatile?

I have had some great ones. I honestly find them all interesting and love seeing the finished product. Self builds are certainly among my favourites but hard to pick out a single favourite.  It's very exciting for the client to see everything come together.

What would you say to someone considering a career with Armatile?

I would highly recommend it. We have a great team of people in very department and it's a exciting company to be part of. There is a strong ethos in providing opportunities for team members to develop. You just have to have the confidence to grab them.

What’s your favourite film?

Its not really a film but I loved Breaking bad. RIP WALTER WHITE

And your favourite meal?

I've a very simple food palette. I'm affectionately known as Mr Chicken!
