Job Overview
We are currently recruiting a Showroom Manager to join the team on a full-time permanent basis in our Armagh Showroom.
The successful candidate will manage and support the showroom team, as well as the various departments throughout Armatile. They will report to the Retail Director on a regular and formal basis.
The Showroom Manager will be expected to manage and enhance the day-to-day activities associated with sales, staffing, logistics and customer orders, whilst ensuring a high-level of customer service.
Duties and Responsibility
Main Duties & Responsibilities include:
• Managing and guiding retail staff to maximise sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with both retail and commercial customers.
• Delivering exceptional customer service at all points of the customer’s purchasing journey.
• Ensure the branch is professionally maintained to company standards.
• Maintain & exceed branch sales & margin targets.
• Liaising with Marketing Manager to coordinate promotional campaigns and showroom display materials.
• Working closely with the Retail Director on a daily basis identifying opportunities for process improvements and targeted sales.
• Coordinating between the sales and warehouse teams to ensure stock availability for orders and sales.
• Strict health and safety compliance for the safety of staff and customers.
• General administration & accurate record keeping.
Skills and Experience
Essential Criteria:
• 3 years managerial experience or related Managerial Qualification, and a proven sales background in tile sales or a related environment.
• Supervisory and people skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional approach.
• Numerate and analytical with attention to detail.
• Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and in a wider team environment.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Commercially aware.
